What RaskaL Does Best...

Seriously slacking on the updates but it's now only 17 more days til the wedding! Eek. Surprisingly, i feel calm and somewhat collected but my anxiety, stress and overall 'Bridezilla-ness' comes in waves. Still, i am so very excited and can't wait to be a 'Mrs.'... so please bear with the sporadic postings.
On a side note... I really gotta say thanks to my loverly sister, who has been my rock and support during this whole ordeal. She's put up with just about every nervous breakdown a bride could have and patiently sat thru my sorrows and helped sort everything out.

'Cuz i felt like it...

The lack in more frequently posting is due to alotta of unexpected turn of events that has since recently consumed my whole life in the past few weeks... and to top off all the overwhelming amounts of stresses and errands i need to run.. i decided to break my ONLY existing external hard drive. sigh. It hurts to even try to remember everything i had saved on it. So, needless to say... i was at my breaking point, where everything negative collectively collided all at once and where i somehow got thru the day and dragged my feet all the way home...  kicking rocks, all the while thinking how things couldn't possibly get any worse... 

Until i reached home and was greeted promptly by this exact set up by the fiance...

"Just Because..."

Such a humbling moment... Just when i couldn't pity myself anymore, my fiance so conveniently brings me back to life.  He couldn't be more amazing if he tried. He duh best.

Wishing i could curl up in a warm and fuzzy bed and hibernate for days... I'd settle for a couch.

Zombie Booth Fun...

Don't look at me~! I'm hideous.

If you have a Droid (i have an iPhone but luckily the fiance has a Droid.. Win-win)... i strongly recommend Zombie Booth. It's free and it turns anyone into a zombie. What's not to like? The app itself is fun too... after you zombie-fy someone, they try to bite your fingers when you touch the screen, along with other fun features. Thought i'd show you a sample... It's also what i look like in the mornings, true story.

The fiance and i recently moved into a very lush and natural area of Los Angeles (Yes, they do exist in LA, Ha.) We're still settling in after living there for a lil over a month. We're both on the busier side so we try to fit in organizing/decorating on our free hours... So hasn't been a whole lot of that. Still, we adore the place and have recently discovered that our home was actually one of the hunting homes of CLARK GABLE! (Eek! I'm kind of a historical LA junkie). There's even supposedly a movie he actually filmed here back when the home was his. Anyone have any ideas of what movie that could be? Apparantly he and his 5-6 wives owned quite a few properties... Anyhoo~ I was pumped on the lil tidbit of information nonetheless. (God, i'm lame.) Now our home is even more charming than before. :)

Apologies for the lack of posts lately... It's been so crazy busy its been downright mental. At least i seem to be keeping 1 of my resolutions of staying productive...

Also, keeping with the resolution of 'No purchasing T-shirts in 2011' .. Ordered 2 dresses (gasp!) Pretty geeked over 'em.
